Recently, inflation has caused food and energy prices to continue to soar, and wages cannot keep up, leading to waves of protests and strikes by drivers of ports, airlines, railways, and road trucks around the world.
On one side are the full yard wharf, and on the other side are wharf, railway, and transport workers protesting strikes for wages. Under the double blow, the shipping schedule and delivery time may be further delayed.
Around 70,000 Belgian workers are understood to have marched in Brussels to demand government action against the sharply rising cost of living
The operation of Belgian airports and the national transport network was almost stopped due to the strike by workers, and the port operations of Antwerp-Bruges, one of the largest ports in Europe, were also affected.
Container shipping giant Maersk also said it would directly affect its operations in the ports of Bremerhaven, Hamburg, and Wilhelmshaven.
