Sea Freight Rates Continue To Fall
Aug 08, 2022
Recently, the global transportation market demand is affected by congestion, strikes, inflation, and so on, and logistics supply chain chaos. With the gradual improvement of the epidemic situation since June, shipping container rates and road transport prices showed a downward trend.
In addition to hot Europe and the United States sea freight rates continue to fall, and container, bulk truck road transport prices are also falling. In April and May, due to the spread of the epidemic in some areas, road freight rates doubled. As the epidemic gradually improved, freight rates on some lines in the Yangtze River Delta have been even lower than normal levels since mid-June.
