From December 17, 2021 to January 7, 2022, the European Commission's non-food rapid warning system (RAPEX) will report the quality of 5 domestic string lighting products.
The main drawbacks include: the product's wire cross-sectional area is too small, which may overheat, causing a risk of burns or fire; the product has insufficient electrical insulation and no moisture protection, and may be exposed to touch (live) parts. Risk of electric shock, etc.
